- 6 1/3 cups chicken broth
- 1 7/8 cups wild rice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 7 ounces shiitake mushrooms
- 7 ounces portobello mushrooms
- salt
- ground black pepper

Steamed Portobello and Shiitake Mushroom Wild Rice
DIRECTIONS
- Add the stock to a saucepan on medium heat. Add the rice and cook for 25 minutes. Once cooked, remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, add a tablespoon of oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the rice to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Total Preparation Time: 35 - 40 minutes
