  • 1 7/8 cups wild rice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 7 ounces shiitake mushrooms
  • 7 ounces portobello mushrooms
  • salt

Steamed Portobello and Shiitake Mushroom Wild Rice

DIRECTIONS

  • Add the stock to a saucepan on medium heat. Add the rice and cook for 25 minutes. Once cooked, remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
  • In a skillet, add a tablespoon of oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Add the rice to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Total Preparation Time: 35 - 40 minutes
